“I Am Adventures” Series Read Along
On January 26th local children’s book author Josh Shelton of the “I Am Adventures” and illustrator Sam Pulenza visited our Center for Spiritual Living, Chico for a surprise lesson!
“Imagine A World” paints a colorful picture of how children can make a positive impact on the world by choosing to be a powerful influence of optimism and loving energy! The books message is powerful, yet simple – perfect for young readers.
“Hey Tree What Should I Be” takes a fun spin on the question – “what do you want to be when you grow up?” The book holds the reader’s hand as they go on a fun ride seeking an answer to this puzzling question. Only to be answered with author Josh Shelton’s simple reply – I want to be happy when I grow up!

Each Kosmic Kid got to tape a paper leaf stating what change they want to see in the world.
Some kids wanted to become a pickle, while others wanted to see world peace!

FUN Is Always first
At our Center we encourage kids to get out and explore everything the City of Chico and Butte County has to offer them!
Every year we venture out and participate in the Annual Chico Kite Day, go hiking in Upper Bidwell Park, visit the Krishner Wild Life Refuge, rent kayaks and paddle boats from Forebay Aquatic Center, and so much more! Let’s have fun and appreciate the out doors!
How could we be Center for Spiritual Living, Chico and not throw a party every now and then? Every year we host holiday themed parties for families to come and enjoy their time together with costumes, falling apart ginger bread houses and Christmas stories told by Santa himself!

Safety & Supervision
We want our Center to be a safe place for kids to openly express themselves in a comfortable environment. We use a sign-in and sign-out method for our Sunday morning child care program. While the grown-ups are enjoying the Sunday Lesson all children are under supervision of a staff member.
